The New Children’s Hospital Appeal

The New Children’s Hospital Appeal launched in May 2006 and aims to raise £20million to help fund projects within the new children’s hospital. Located in central Manchester the new hospital will be the largest children’s hospital in the UK.

The Appeal will focus on two main areas:

• Ensuring that the new state-of-the-art buildings have the best equipment available for diagnosis and treatment
• Providing accommodation so the parents can stay close to their child during treatment.

Family bakers Warburtons has pledged £45,000 to The New Children’s Hospital Appeal over the next three years. This donation will help to create the Warburtons Family Room, part of the accommodation for parents within the new hospital.

Warburtons is also working with the appeal and City in the Community at Manchester City Football Club. We are now in our second year of running Healthy Activity Days for local schools - an exciting day promoting healthy eating and fitness.
